The Florida Twenty Five Goldback (1/40 Troy Ounce 24k Gold)

Goldbacks debuted with the release of Utah Goldbacks, offering Americans the first form of spendable gold in nearly a century.

Goldbacks are designed with 24-karat gold and feature unique designs for each denomination honoring the heritage of the state for which each series is issued.

Florida is the latest state to have a Goldback Series, and it marks the debut of new denominations in the form of 1/2, 2, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 Goldbacks.

The Everglades, often called the “River of Grass,” represents one of the most unique and threatened ecosystems in North America. Conservation efforts became crucial in the 20th century as development, agriculture, and water management projects reduced the Everglades to about half its original size. The ecosystem provides essential habitat for endangered species like the Florida panther and American crocodile, while also serving as a natural water filter and barrier against storm surge.
